How it works

  1. 1

    Upload or record speech

Upload an audio or video file (MP3, M4A, WAV, WebM or MP4, up to 25 MB) or record in the browser.

  2. 2

    Pick the language and voice

Choose the target language and an AI voice. Keep-timing is on by default so translated lines land where the originals were spoken.

  3. 3

    Download the dub

Get an MP3 voice track, SRT subtitles in both languages, and the source and translated text.

Frequently asked questions

How does AI dubbing work?

Your recording is transcribed with segment timings, each segment is translated, spoken by the AI voice you chose, and placed back on the original timeline.

How long can my recording be?

It depends on your plan: up to 60 seconds per file on the free plan and longer on paid plans (up to 20 minutes on Pro and Business). Files can be up to 25 MB.

Does it replace the audio in my video?

It gives you a new translated voice track and subtitle files. You combine them with your video in your editor; MCV Labs does not re-render the video.

Will the dub sound like the original speaker?

No. The translation is spoken by the AI voice you choose, not a copy of the original speaker's voice.
